Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a program coordinator to join the Residency Program Leadership Team in Philadelphia. The role collaborates with the Program Director and Associate Directors on administrative functions, governance, and budgeting for residency/fellowship education, ensuring compliance across programs.

The coordinator will manage residents, fellows, and rotators, coordinate exams, and oversee events and evaluations while driving optimization of accreditation processes and data systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, education or business preferred.
• 2 years experience as a residency program coordinator in a Graduate Medical Education facility.
• Proficient knowledge of GME residency program coordination and ACGME requirements.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills for a complex program.
• High level of understanding of accreditation and residency software systems.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff per Jefferson values.
• Collaborate with Program Directors on development and governance of educational programs.
• Develop knowledge of ACGME and program requirements.
• Manage annual recruitment process for educational programs.
• Proctors and coordinates In Training Exams.
• Responsible for Residency/Fellowship Events: Orientation, Graduation, Wellness, Retreats, and awards.
• Coordinate didactic classes and conference attendance.
• Oversee resident, faculty, and program evaluations.
• Manage activities related to Program Evaluation Committee and Clinical Competency Committee.
• Liaise with Finance on Medicare cost reports and rotations.
• Ensure compliance (HR, ACGME) of all outside residents/fellows.
• Manage New Innovations Electronic Residency System for evaluation and tracking.
• Oversee software systems for programs: WebAds, GMETrack, FREIDA, ERAS, NRMP.
