The Surgery Referral Coordinator at Veterinary Specialty Center Seattle in Lynnwood, WA will help manage the day-to-day flow of the surgery department. You will liaise between the surgical team and clients, ensuring clear communication and efficient case management for pets undergoing surgery.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in veterinary field preferred (client service or veterinary assistant).
• Know services the practice provides and species treated.
• Ability to follow hospital policies and OSHA standards.
• Demonstrate empathy toward clients and compassionate animal care.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support surgeon and Surgery team and manage case flow.
• Create and submit diagnostic requests for the doctor.
• Monitor diagnostic results and ensure review in Ezyvet.
• Create estimates upon request by doctor or team.
• Coordinate with shelters and rescue organizations.
• Discharge patients with medications, instructions and items.
