Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking a Surgery & Diagnostic Scheduling Rep to coordinate and schedule surgical procedures and sedated/non-sedated diagnostic services. You will be the primary contact for multi-service scheduling, collecting clinical data, and ensuring a positive patient experience across the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with medical terminology.
• Experience scheduling in hospital/ambulatory settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures and diagnostic services with patients and providers.
• Verify insurance information and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• Coordinate with anesthesia and operating room staff for correct scheduling.
• Communicate schedule changes and patient education details to all stakeholders.
• Manage pre-op and post-op appointments and related orders.
• Handle inquiries and provide overflow support within the department.
