Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the day shift in a 13-week assignment. You will support the surgical team by preparing rooms and passing instruments, while maintaining strict sterile technique.

The role requires 2+ years of CST experience, NBSTSA certification (CST or CSFA), BLS, EPIC EMR familiarity, and willingness to work weekends/holidays. COVID patient care experience is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
• Willing to work major holidays and weekends as required by the unit.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Candidates must be available for weekends and holidays as needed.

Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with experience in various surgical procedures and a commitment to high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting surgical teams while maintaining proper sterile techniques and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
• Must be willing to work on major holidays and weekends as required by the unit.
• Ability to care for COVID patients is necessary.
