ARMStaffing is seeking a General/GYN Scrub Tech for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate brings at least three years of experience in general and gynecological surgery, with a focus on sterile technique and teamwork within the surgical suite.

The role requires assisting surgeons, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring accurate instrument counts. On-call shifts and a Monday–Friday schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Certified Scrub Technician certification is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in general and gynecological surgery.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled General/GYN Scrub Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in general and gynecological surgery. This position involves assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and collaborating with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical field.
• Assist surgeons with instrumentation and supplies during procedures.
• Ensure proper counts of instruments and supplies before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in maintaining inventory and ordering surgical supplies as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified Scrub Technician certification.
• Minimum of three years of experience in general and gynecological surgery.
• A permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
