ARMStaffing seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week contract in Keene, NH. The role focuses on scrubbing in the OR and circulating as needed, with hours 6:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, on 10-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Surgery Department specializes in the surgical treatment of various clinical conditions, offering a wide range of procedures including endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal (both open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary surgeries. As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), you will be a vital member of the surgical team, primarily functioning in a scrubbing capacity while also assisting in circulating duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique in the operating room (OR).
• Prepare the OR suite for surgical procedures.
• Utilize and maintain specialized equipment and supplies used for specific surgical procedures.
• Assist in providing a quiet environment in the OR suite and effectively adapt to stressful situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• High proficiency in orthopedics, total joints, and neurosurgery.
• Experience in scrubbing for general surgery, ortho, neuro, and endoscopic procedures.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• New Hampshire Medical Technician Registration Certificate (can pend upon offer).
• Must have own vehicle for transportation.
