Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team in Live Oak, Texas. This 13-week contract position demands collaboration with surgeons and staff to ensure optimal patient care throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate is an RN with current license, BLS and ACLS, and prior OR circulator experience. The shift runs from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating call requirements; ARMStaffing offers health benefits, onboarding support, and travel amenities.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dedicated surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient care throughout surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with the surgical team during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain sterile environment and handle instruments effectively.
• Monitor patient vitals and response to anesthesia and surgical interventions.
• Assist in orienting and training new nursing staff as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Previous experience as an OR circulator required.
• Ability to fulfill rotating call (one night per week minimum, one weekend per five-week schedule minimum).
