Piedmont Macon Medical in Macon, GA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our scrubs team. You will assist in surgical procedures, prepare and maintain sterile field, and work under the supervision of a registered nurse.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technology program, and either certification or 3 years of experience. BLS is required; certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred. A sign-on bonus is available.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School graduate or GED.
Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
N/A

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
BLS certification required.
