Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team in Macon, GA. The role involves scrubbing, supporting patient care, and collaborating with licensed staff to assist patients across age groups under RN supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technology program, and BCLS certification. A CST is preferred. Sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred

Responsabilités

• Performs scrub duties and provides patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff and works with clients of various ages.

Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program Required

Work Experience

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required or
• 3 years of surgical tech experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
