Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) trained in Supported Employment to help clients achieve independence and meaningful community integration.

You will assist with daily living activities, implement ISPs, provide companionship, monitor health, and support job applications and training, with a focus on safe, person-centered care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training must be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
• Implement ISPs aligned with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health as per guidelines.
• Support clients with job applications and job training.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.
