Job summary

CareTech's Edgerton Grove service in Bradford is seeking dedicated Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The role is permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis.

You will deliver person-centred support, help with daily living skills, and promote independence while working with a supportive team. Applicants should be patient, flexible, and reliable, with a willingness to work unsociable hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment with challenging behaviour preferred
• Willingness to work towards a health and social qualification
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
