About the role
You'll be joining a friendly, established home supporting four wonderful ladies, each with their own unique personalities, interests, and goals.
The ladies enjoy leading active and fulfilling lives, and no two days are ever the same. Whether it's visiting family, enjoying a game of bingo, dancing at a disco, catching the latest film at the cinema, going swimming, shopping, spending a day at the seaside, enjoying a pub lunch, or attending social events, you'll play a key role in helping them make the most of every opportunity.
One of the ladies has her own vehicle, so a full UK driving licence is essential to support the ladies to access their local community and enjoy adventures further afield.
One of the ladies also uses a wheelchair and requires support with mobility, moving and assisting, and personal care. You'll provide this support with dignity, respect, and encouragement, helping her maintain her independence and live life on her terms.
We're looking for confident, caring, and motivated individuals who can provide not only practical support but also emotional reassurance, building trusting relationships that make a real difference every day.
As a Support Worker, you'll be empowering the ladies to live the lives they choose, achieve their goals, develop new skills, and maintain their independence.
Your role will include:
Shifts:
There are a variety of day shifts, some with sleep shifts, varying between 8-14 hours.
This includes a combination of weekdays and weekends and bank holidays.
Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!
