Dimensions is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join a friendly Dorchester team. You will assist three of the six residents with learning disabilities who live in their own flats, helping them pursue independent, meaningful daily lives within the local community.
Full training and ongoing support are provided. Shifts include Early, Late, and Long Day patterns, with a competitive hourly rate and benefits. A UK driving licence is required for automatic vehicles.

About the Role
We're looking for enthusiastic and compassionate

upport Workers to join our friendly team in Dorchester.
You'll support three of the six people with Learning Disabilities who live in their own flats in a complex in the
Poundbury area of
Dorchester, helping them enjoy fulfilling, independent lives both at home and within their local community. Every day is different—you could be supporting someone to pursue their hobbies, attend appointments, enjoy social activities, or simply achieve their personal goals.
Whether you have previous support experience or are completely new to the sector, we'd love to hear from you. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Typical Shifts
- Early:
7:30am - 2:30pm
- Late:
2:30pm - 9:30pm
- Long Day:
8:00am - 9:00pm
About You
You'll be someone who is:
- Kind, patient, and reliable
- Passionate about supporting people to live independently
- Comfortable building positive relationships
- Willing to learn and develop new skills
As a Support Worker, you'll also provide practical support with:
- Personal care
- Meal planning and preparation
- Managing finances and budgeting
- Household tasks
- Supporting people to access their communities and activities
