Priory Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care at Bishops Way. You will assist with daily living, personal care and community activities, helping residents maintain dignity and independence.

You may cover shifts across our local homes, with training provided and opportunities for career progression within our Priory network.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to be flexible to cover days/nights/weekends.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to professional standards, policies and procedures.

Bishops Way is located in the coastal town of St Leonards-on-Sea near Hastings, East Sussex. It offers residential support for three females who have Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). We are off a quiet road, a short distance from the town centre and the sea front.

Our team are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where our residents can be fully involved in their care and support in order to lead a more independent and fulfilling future.
You may also be required to cover shifts at our 2 other local homes within the area.

What you'll be doing

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated and resilient Support Worker to join our team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support, helping the people we support to live with dignity, independence, choice and purpose.

As a key worker, you will support individuals with daily living, personal care, activities and community involvement, while helping them achieve their personal goals and live their best lives. No two days are the same, and your empathy and resilience will be essential in supporting people through both the highs and lows.
