Our teachers receive full support from directors, including planning and resource time, to ensure classroom success. We maintain appropriate ratios and provide necessary resources. We also recognize our teachers through various recognition programs throughout the year.

Responsibilities of a Support Teacher include:

  1. Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
  2. Supporting each child's social and emotional development
  3. Building positive relationships with families
  4. Collaborating with co-teachers and faculty

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Willing to complete 15-hour state-required training
  • Effective communication skills with children, parents, and staff
  • Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and multi-task
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; specific requirements for Infant and Toddler Teachers
  • Meet background check eligibility
