Job Summary

Mahomet-Seymour High School is currently hiring for a Support Services Teacher to provide targeted instructional and behavioral supports to students requiring additional academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral interventions. The position collaborates with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to implement evidence-based interventions that promote student achievement and well-being. This is a full-time position that will begin with the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Provide general education support, as well as individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals and objectives.
• Implement and monitor behavioral intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and problem‑solving teams to support student needs.
• Monitor progress on IEP goals and objectives.
• Communicate student progress with staff and parents/guardians.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping and documentation.
• Maintain high ethical standards and protect the confidentiality of student information.

Please see the attached current 2025‑2026 Salary Schedule (our existing 4‑year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the 2025‑2026 school year and we will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 2026‑2027 school year).
