Job summary

Five Below in the United States is hiring a Store Leader to oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise crew, support opening/closing duties, and help drive sales while ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, with strong communication skills. You’ll train associates, enforce store policies, and collaborate with the leadership team to maintain a WOW customer environment at Five Below.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and providing excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to get items on the sales floor quickly.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Occasionally manages opening/closing the store, securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms for smooth operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including trash, cleaning, and stock room upkeep.
