Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership role to oversee daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service at our Newark, DE location. You will supervise crew, train associates, and manage opening/closing procedures while ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The role drives sales through merchandising, staffing and guest experience, requiring at least 1 year of management experience and strong communication skills. Hourly starting wage is $15.50.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task; creative thinking; maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and handle customer checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities; supervise staff and ensure great customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, stocking and merchandising.
• Open/close store; secure cash, set alarms, ensure smooth daily operation.
• Train associates; support scheduling and policy compliance.
• Drive sales and manage expenses through merchandising and customer service.
• Ensure store maintenance and safety.
