Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty in Wilmington, DE. You will lead crew members, coach staff to provide WOW customer service, and oversee daily store operations to ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, cash handling, training associates, and driving sales through merchandising and service excellence. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; college experience is preferred. Hourly starting at $15.50.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure excellent service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast shelf placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, and ensures smooth daily operations.
