Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Support Engineer for the Pulp and Water division to cover the New Hampshire/Maine territory. You will perform routine testing and data entry at customer sites, interfacing with customers to resolve chemical or equipment issues and help manage inventory and deliveries.

Responsibilities include adjusting feed levels for optimal performance, delivering chemicals, troubleshooting, and training to expand lab testing and equipment maintenance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or other technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to solve complex and non-routine technical problems.
• Strong relationship management skills and customer literacy.
• Proactive, results-driven with quick learning of Solenis technologies.
• Excellent MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screen.

• Collaborate with site teams to ensure optimal program performance.
• Training to conduct lab testing, repair/install equipment, and inventory management.

We are looking for a Support Engineer for our Pulp and Water division in the New Hampshire/Maine territory!

What You'll Do:

• The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation
• Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment.
• Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks.
• Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring; Delivers chemical and compiles trial data at the customer site
• Alerts the site manager of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues
• Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
• Specs out, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment
• Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.
• In this position the employee will be trained to conduct lab testing, repair and install chemical feed equipment, input numbers into excel, inventory control, chemical transfers, and maintain a positive customer (mill personnel) relationship.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree
• Solving complex and non-routine technical problems
• Strong relationship management skills
• Industry and customer literate, or ability to pick up industry and Solenis technologies quickly
• Drive for results; proactively addresses complex issues
• Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
