Solenis LLC is seeking a Support Engineer for the Pulp and Water division in the New York/New Jersey area. You will perform routine site testing, data entry, and service report preparation, while interfacing with customers to address chemical and equipment needs.

The role requires a science/technical degree or equivalent experience, strong problem-solving skills, and solid MS Office proficiency. Domestic travel and a valid driver's license are expected.

• Bachelor’s Degree (Science or technical degree) required; experience may substitute.
• Strong ability to solve complex technical problems and troubleshoot.
• Excellent relationship management skills and customer focus.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine testing and monitoring at customer sites with data entry and reporting.
• Interface with customers to understand and resolve chemical or equipment issues.
• Manage product inventory and deliveries at the customer site.
• Adjust chemical feed levels based on tests to optimize performance and collect trial data.
• Troubleshoot equipment and alert site managers to issues or opportunities.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and feed equipment and input results into Excel.

We are looking for a Support Engineer for our Pulp and Water division in New York/New Jersey!

What You'll Do:

• The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation
• Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment.
• Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks.
• Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring; Delivers chemical and compiles trial data at the customer site
• Alerts the site manager of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues
• Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
• Specs out, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment
• Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.
• In this position the employee will be trained to conduct lab testing, repair and install chemical feed equipment, input numbers into excel, inventory control, chemical transfers, and maintain a positive customer (mill personnel) relationship.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree
• Solving complex and non-routine technical problems
• Strong relationship management skills
• Industry and customer literate, or ability to pick up industry and Solenis technologies quickly
• Drive for results; proactively addresses complex issues
• Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
