Job summary

Solenis is seeking a field-based technician in New Jersey to perform routine testing and monitoring at customer sites, collect data, and support service reports.

You will interface with customers to resolve chemical/equipment issues, manage product inventory at the site, adjust feed levels, deliver chemicals, and input data into Excel. Training will cover lab testing, equipment repair, and ensuring strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree.
• Solving complex and non-routine technical problems.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Industry and customer literate, or ability to pick up industry and Solenis technologies quickly.
• Drive for results; proactively addresses complex issues.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

• The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation.
• Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment.
• Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks.
• Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring; Delivers chemical and compiles trial data at the customer site.
• Alerts the site manager of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues.
• Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts.
• Specs out, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment.
• Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance. In this position the employee will be trained to conduct lab testing, repair and install chemical feed equipment, input numbers into excel, inventory control, chemical transfers, and maintain a positive customer (mill personnel) relationship.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
