Job summary

RCRO LLC is seeking a Production Support Engineer to join the FIT Support Team, providing application, batch, user, and trading support in a financial services environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SQL, Linux, Python scripting, and experience with job scheduling tools in a BFSI context. Local onsite work 3 days per week is required; second-level in-person interview may be needed.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and RDBMS.

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to join the FIT Support Team and provide application, batch, user, and trading support within a financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SQL, Linux, Python/Scripting, and job scheduling tools, along with exposure to the BFSI domain.

• Understand and support existing applications and production processes
• Provide batch, user, and trading support
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and resolve code-related problems when required
• Analyze and troubleshoot application and system issues
• Work with SQL and databases to investigate and resolve production issues
• Use Linux commands and shell scripting for troubleshooting and support activities
• Collaborate effectively with development, operations, and business teams
• Participate in shift-based production support activities
• Maintain a positive, proactive, and team-oriented approach
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and RDBMS
• Strong knowledge of Linux commands
• Experience with Python and/or scripting
• Hands-on experience with Shell Scripting
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Airflow, or similar
• Experience in production/application support
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Exposure to the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain
• Experience with Fixed Income and/or Multi-Asset applications is highly preferred
• Must be a local candidate who can work onsite 3 days per week
• Must be available for a second-level/in-person interview if required
