Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Supply Planning Lead to drive supply planning across BU3 North America. You will oversee ~$65 million in annual purchasing and manage a team of planners to optimize service levels, inventory, and working capital.

The role requires SAP MM/PP proficiency, 5–10 years in planning, and strong analytical abilities. Located in Olive Branch, MS, the position is full-time with cross-functional collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in materials planning, production planning, and inventory management.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or aftermarket environment is preferred.
• Experience managing high-SKU-count (+30K) supply chains preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP MM, PP, and related planning modules.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and planning tools.
• Experience with supply chain planning systems, forecasting tools, and inventory optimization methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product availability and customer service level (CSL1) by ensuring orders are fulfilled in the requested quantity and timeframe.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels for BU3 North America product lines with ~$40 million inventory ownership.
• Lead and develop Material and Production Planners, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Plan and coordinate supply of components and finished goods from internal and external suppliers.
• Develop and execute production and assembly plans to maximize fill rates while maintaining inventory targets.
• Support the S&OP process with data, inventory analysis, and capacity assessments.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and lead escalation to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with SAP MM/PP and related planning platforms.
