Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field or 8 years of direct experience in similar role and industry in lieu of education.
• 2 years of direct related experience preferred.
• Problem Solver - identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions.
• Experience with statistical analysis and ability to identify and anticipate stock issues.
• Ability to write and present detailed reports.
• Self-motivated and self-starter, enjoy a challenge and always wanting to find a better way.
• Excellent attention to detail, conscientious and diligent.
• Promotes and follows the business unit’s Core Efforts and Values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier/subcontractor contract negotiations.
• Issue purchase orders and/or EDI releases for materials/services.
• Manage supplier relationships and interface with quality on stock issues.
• Maintain inventory and support lean initiatives to improve turns and service responsiveness.
• Ensure transparency of supplier orders and meet deadlines amidst changing priorities.
