Job summary

MAHLE is seeking an experienced Project Buyer/Purchasing Lead for our Farmington Hills location. You will manage project purchasing KPIs, mentor buyers across the Americas, and drive on‑time delivery with quality and cost targets. You will coordinate regional and global projects and approve customer quotes during the project phase.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (technical or business) and 7+ years in purchasing, quality, or manufacturing. Location: Farmington Hills, MI on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or technical degree with broad purchasing knowledge.
• Experience in quality, purchasing, or manufacturing environments required.
• Knowledge of quality tools and SPC fundamentals helpful.

Responsibilities

• Define, achieve and report project purchasing KPIs and milestones.
• Mentor project buyers in Farmington Hills and Mexico; conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure project objectives on time, quality and target prices are met.
• Coordinate regional/global projects across regions.
• Provide feedback on supplier performance during project phase.
• Approve quotes for project buying scope (MSP) and support IPCO Tech activities.
