Job summary

Mark Anthony Group in Chicago is seeking a Supply Planner to ensure optimal inventory levels and supply chain efficiency by accurately planning production to demand forecast needs and plant capabilities. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to minimize costs and enhance service levels, supporting growth and customer satisfaction.

You will own production planning, inventory management, and data reporting, while influencing continuous improvement in supply planning processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field with 3+ years of experience in supply planning or inventory management.
• Proficiency in planning tools (O9, SAP, Oracle, etc) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-range production plans for an assigned portfolio of SKUs to meet customer demands.
• Minimize cost by maintaining proper inventory levels at internal and/or external manufacturing sites.
• Identify, action, and root cause shortages to prevent OOS SKUs and reoccurrences.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement, data visualization, and improving data accuracy.
• Support development of new reporting tools.
• Build working relationship with manufacturing sites and other cross functional team members.
• Ad hoc analysis.
• Weeks forward coverage of FG and Sub inventory.
• Operational Schedule Attainment & Adherence.
• Case fill rate
• Direct and Indirect COGs

To ensure optimal inventory levels and supply chain efficiency by accurately planning production to demand forecast needs and plant capabilities. The supply planner will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, minimize costs, and enhance service levels, ultimately supporting the organization’s growth and customer satisfaction goals.

Accountabilities:

Qualifications, Education, & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field with 3+ years of experience in supply planning or inventory management.

Proficiency in planning tools (O9,SAP,Oracle, etc) and Excel

Compensation:

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
