Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Project Engineer to bridge evolving business processes with digital planning technologies and to transform S&OP capabilities across demand, supply, inventory, factory, and supplier planning.

You will work with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Rental, and IT to translate requirements and drive improvements that enable integrated decision-making. The role emphasizes collaboration, process documentation, and continuous improvement to enhance planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting business process improvement and digital transformation.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical process improvements and technology requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate supply chain and planning process requirements into business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital enablement.
• Support the implementation of planning and orchestration solutions with business and technology teams.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document business rules, workflows, and objectives.
• Coordinate project activities, track deliverables, identify risks, and support issue resolution.
• Assist with testing, deployment, training, and adoption of new processes and system capabilities.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and implementation artifacts.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Sales, Rental, Operations, and IT to achieve project objectives.
