Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Project Engineer to bridge evolving business processes with digital planning technologies and to support S&OP capability transformation.

You will align planning activities across demand, supply, inventory, factory, and supplier planning to enable integrated decision-making across the supply chain. You will partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Rental, and IT teams to define requirements, document processes, and drive continuous improvements that

Qualifications

• Analyze business processes, planning workflows, and data to identify trends and improvements.
• Evaluate alternatives and recommend practical solutions based on data.

Responsibilities

• Translate supply chain and planning requirements into business requirements, processes, and specs.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and digital enablement.
• Support planning and orchestration solution implementations with business and tech teams.
• Facilitate requirements sessions and document rules, workflows, and objectives.
• Coordinate activities, track deliverables, risks, and issues.
• Assist with testing, deployment, training, and adoption of new processes.
• Analyze data and metrics to identify improvements and support decisions.
• Develop process documentation and SOPs for implementations.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, IT to meet goals.
• Drive continuous improvement for planning effectiveness, inventory, and service.
