Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Manager to join the procurement department.

The role focuses on managing supplier quality, contract execution, and continuous improvement within a global aerospace environment. You will be the focal point for supplier relationships, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards while coordinating internal and external communications and CI activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aviation, or Engineering (or equivalent).
• Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of technical experience in Quality, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis (e.g., 8D or Practical Problem Solving).
• AS9100 Auditor or equivalent training.
• Team working mindset.

Responsibilities

• Focal point to suppliers for operational activities and contract management; ambassador of the supplier to internal functions.
• Manage the supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, ensuring on-time, on-quality (and on-cost where applicable) performance.
• Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance; contribute to supplier development.
• Communicate customer/internal demands via Service Letters, meetings, calls, and emails, and apply CI processes.
