Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks an experienced Overseas Supply Chain Quality Manager to oversee cabin equipment suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and quality across US and Europe.

The role interfaces with suppliers and internal customers, requiring strong quality management, autonomy, and communication skills. Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally is expected, with on-site work at supplier sites or Airbus offices for a minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar field required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 6–8 years in procurement operations or similar; aerospace experience preferred.
• Green Belt/Black Belt or CPIM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier manufacturing and supply chain processes are robust to avoid failures.
• Monitor performance using KPIs and audits; drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on industrial objectives.
• Lead recovery plans with suppliers to meet Airbus requirements.
• Support management reviews with suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
