Job summary

Air Tractor Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to lead the supplier quality function, develop performance systems, and reduce supplier-generated quality costs across our Texas operation.

You will establish policies, scorecards, audits, SCARs, and recovery programs in partnership with Supply Chain and Procurement. You should bring 7+ years in supplier quality, aerospace manufacturing experience, and strong knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 7+ years supplier quality experience.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 and supplier management practices.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish supplier quality policies, procedures, and systems.
• Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
• Lead supplier audit and supplier development programs.
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Establish supplier recovery processes and cost recovery initiatives.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and qualification activities.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement on supplier performance improvement.
• Analyze supplier quality trends and drive corrective actions.
• Improve incoming quality performance and supplier accountability.
