Job summary

Air Tractor Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to establish and lead the supplier quality function. You will develop performance systems, improve incoming quality, and implement supplier accountability to reduce quality costs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Quality and 7+ years in supplier quality, with aerospace manufacturing experience preferred and knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100. Strong negotiation and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field required.
• 7+ years supplier quality experience preferred in aerospace.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 and supplier management practices.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish supplier quality policies, procedures, and systems.
• Develop supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
• Lead supplier audit and supplier development programs.
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Establish supplier recovery processes and cost recovery initiatives.
• Conduct supplier risk assessments and qualification activities.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement on supplier performance improvement.
• Analyze supplier quality trends and drive corrective actions.
• Improve incoming quality performance and supplier accountability.
