Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Manager - Propulsion to join our Procurement team in Hartford, CT.

The role focuses on ensuring on-time and on-quality delivery of propulsion systems through close collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams across regions. The candidate will manage deviation resolution, implement corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within a global aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of APQP, risk management and continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma) desirable.
• Experience leading industrial capacity and quality assessments.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-time delivery of propulsion systems.
• Collaborate with supplier Program, Industrial, Supply Chain, and Quality leadership.
• Analyze supplier value streams and provide feedback to de-risk performance.
• Coordinate with Airbus teams in US, Europe, and suppliers for on-time, on-quality delivery of propulsion systems.
• Drive timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.
• Maintain visibility of key industrial, quality, supply chain risks & opportunities; drive action plans.
• Integrate Supply Chain activities with regional offices and central Propulsion Operations Procurement.
• Review supplier readiness and control tower/industrial reviews for status.
