Job summary

ScanSource, Inc. in Greenville, SC is seeking a Supply Chain Purchasing Specialist - Networking to handle drop shipment POs, update ETAs in SAP, and support sales teams. You will manage open orders and supplier relationships while ensuring timely shipment and invoicing.

Regular attendance is essential. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in technology or distribution, SAP experience, and foreign language skills.

Qualifications

• Must have High School/GED and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite is required.
• Preferred SAP experience and familiarity with distribution/tech processes.
• Foreign language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process assigned supplier hardware, software and subscription/license purchases, orders and returns.
• Update ETA in SAP on all outstanding purchase orders.
• Manage Open Orders to ensure timely shipment and invoicing.
• Clean parked/blocked invoices.
• Monitor sales pipeline with Supplier Business Manager.
• Maintain relationships with supplier partners and ScanSource sales teams.
• Attend work duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.

Summary:

The Supply Chain Purchasing Specialist is responsible for processing drop shipment Purchase Orders to meet SLA and accuracy guidelines, maintain updated ETAs on all open orders in SAP, and provide sales support as needed.

• Process assigned supplier(s) hardware, software and subscription/license purchases, orders and returns
• Update Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA’s) in SAP on all outstanding purchase orders
• Manage Open Orders to ensure timely shipment and invoicing
• Clean parked/blocked invoices
• Monitor sales pipeline, working directly with the Supplier Business Manager
• Maintain relationship with supplier partner(s)
• Maintain an accessible and responsive relationship with ScanSource sales teams
• Other duties as assigned
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position

Reporting Relationships:

• Direct supervision given from Manager, Supply Chain - Purchasing
• No Direct Reports
• Daily contact with supplier representatives, sales reps and ScanSource management
• Will occasionally make presentations to both supplier and ScanSource Senior Management

Credentials:

Required:

• High School/GED

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit a computer terminal for long periods of time
• Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for the position
• Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time
• Ability to lift 10 pounds

Compensation:

Compensation: $45,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
