Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Two (2) years or more in logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field.
• Two (2) years or more of supervisory experience required.
• Three (3) years or more problem-solving skills; use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems preferred.
• WMS intermediate preferred.
• MHE intermediate required.
• OSHA intermediate required.
• DOT and Hazmat knowledge based on the account intermediate preferred.
• Lean principles, systems and tools exposure (beginners) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily/shift goal of facility and group(s). Develop plans to achieve goals and motivate staff.
• Provide leadership for Supervisors, SNE and hourly employees via training and ongoing coaching.
• Identify and solve operational issues; drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Hire, train and supervise exempt and/or hourly employees in the work groups.
• Support system and process training; track time, attendance and performance feedback.
• Instruct and enforce location safety management plans, training and processes.
• Assign tasks and ensure required tools are available.
