Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Group Manager Logistics I to oversee financial, operational and staff matters across multiple accounts. You will drive profitability, retention, and growth while ensuring safety, customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in logistics or supply chain, strong leadership and project management skills, and a track record of developing teams and delivering complete logistics solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, supply chain or equivalent; 2 years of relevant work experience acceptable
• Master's Degree in related field preferred
• 5+ years in relevant supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry experience
• 5+ years in managing, leading and developing direct reports
• 3+ years in developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management

Responsibilities

• Manage financial, operational and employee aspects of multiple accounts
• Drive profitable retention and growth while meeting SOX and invoicing requirements
• Ensure staff training in Transportation/Distribution Management and KPI tracking
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver logistics solutions
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans when needed
