Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Group Manager Logistics I to oversee financial, operational and personnel aspects for multiple accounts. You will drive profitability, customer satisfaction and safety while leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in logistics or supply chain, with preferred Master's degree and strong cross-functional collaboration. Travel may be involved, and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or two additional years of relevant work experience required.
• Master's Degree in related field preferred.
• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field required.
• 5+ years managing, leading and developing direct reports, preferred.
• 3+ years developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management skills, required.
• 1+ year managing customer KPIs, required.
• Knowledge of truck brokerage advanced, preferred.
• RD/Logistics/Transportation industry advanced, preferred.
• Ryder Financial Reporting and accounting procedures (Walker) intermediate, preferred.
• Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office) intermediate, required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial, operational and personnel aspects across multiple accounts to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Drive SOX compliance, revenue recognition, and invoicing processes for assigned accounts.
• Lead and develop large multi-level teams; manage performance and provide feedback.
• Coordinate cross-functional work with CLS/CLC and location leadership to optimize operations.
• Reduce unnecessary overtime and drive process improvements across locations.
• Maintain professional relationships with peers, customers and supervisors to support long-term growth.
