Job summary

International Motors seeks a Supply Chain Manager – Factory Feeding at the San Antonio Manufacturing Plant to lead material handling, ensure right material is at the right place on time, and sustain uninterrupted production.

You will manage multiple supervisors and hourly teams across day and planned night shifts, drive lean improvements, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and Planning to prepare for new product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of materials management or supply chain experience.
• Master's degree and at least 4 years of materials management or supply chain experience.
• At least 8 years of materials management or supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage business unit supervisors responsible for material flow throughout the factory.
• Support production operations to ensure all material requirements are lineside at the time needed.
• Lead efforts to improve efficiency and quality of material control and delivery.
• Drive efforts to improve key KPIs including labor efficiency, inventory accuracy and availability of material at lineside
• These teams work across multiple shifts, ensuring materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there, on the line.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, focus on JIT deliverables and an on-going focus on reducing process waste.
• Manage introduction of new product to ensure systems are ready to receive and deliver to appropriate work stations.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, corporate functions and work with cross-functional teams
• Flexibility to work in a multi-shift environment
