Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola is seeking a Materials Management professional for the Pensacola, FL location. The role supports the Materials Management department with full-time day shifts, ensuring timely stock delivery, maintaining storeroom inventory, and minimizing expired products.

You will troubleshoot inventory issues, maintain tracking records, and engage clinicians and vendors to provide excellent service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or 1 year related experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to interact professionally with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed. Maintains storeroom inventory levels and timely removal of expired products.
• Investigates and troubleshoots inventory issues/problems.
• Maintains accurate tracking records for inventory. Ensures stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practices.
• Engages customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. This requires professional presence to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.
