Job summary

Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) invites qualified students to join the Supply Chain Management internship at our Jeannette, PA headquarters. The role provides hands-on experience in a rotating equipment environment, exposure to leadership meetings, and real-world project ownership in procurement, inventory planning, and supplier management.

Preferred candidates are majoring in Supply Chain or Information Systems and are in junior year of their bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Supply Chain or Information Systems; junior year of bachelor’s degree.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship for internships.
• On-site internship at Jeannette, PA with a 12-week program, Mon–Fri 8:00–4:30.

Responsibilities

• Analyze local/regional spend data to optimize inventory and RFQ packages.
• Build capabilities for Blanket Purchase Orders and automated supplier releases.
• Maintain real-time AVL lead times for improved data accuracy and AI analytics.
• Refine stocking and transfer strategies across receiving, inspection, invoicing.

Overview & Responsibilities

2027 Supply Chain Management Intern Overview

This is a support role to assist Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE) professionals in our U.S. global headquarters location in Jeannette, PA. Students will receive “hands-on" experience in the Supply Chain Management department in the rotating equipment industry.

At EEE, we design, build, refurbish and re-engineer products used by some of the largest companies in the world. EEE manufactures steam turbines, centrifugal and axial compressors, cryogenic pumps and expanders, power recovery expanders and gas expanders for use in energy markets worldwide.

All internships will consist of the following elements:

• Individual projects to own and complete for real world hands-on experience;
• Team project and activities designed to demonstrate cooperation;
• Exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of EEE leadership including participation in company and customer meetings and job shadowing.

The Supply Chain Management Intern will lead the following projects:

• Analyze local and regional spend data on high-volume purchases to capture economies of scale, optimize inventory placement, and structure standardized Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages.
• Build system capabilities for Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) and automated supplier releases, leveraging product lifecycle management tools to automatically sync updated technical drawings.
• Maintain real-time Approved Vendor List (AVL) lead times to enhance operational data accuracy and support enterprise AI lead-time analytics.
• Refine stocking and inventory transfer strategies to minimize excess material and streamline downstream transactions across receiving, inspection, and invoicing.

Preferred candidate: Major in Supply Chain or Information Systems completing minimum of junior year of a Bachelor’s Degree.

This internship will be based at the EEE headquarters in Jeannette, PA. Candidates must be able to commute to our Jeannette, PA headquarters Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for twelve weeks.
