Job summary

NFI is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer I in Camden, NJ to develop engineering analyses and drive continuous improvement across warehousing, transload, cross-dock, and transportation. The role combines engineering rigor with strong collaboration across NFI leadership and operations.

As an entry-level engineer, you will apply industrial engineering methodologies, manage data-driven projects, and contribute to optimization of supply chain processes while traveling up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• BS Industrial Engineering or related degree as required; BS Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Data management and manipulation skills; programming to manipulate large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Leads the successful completion of engineering projects and analysis applying industrial engineering methodologies and tools.
• Identifies process gaps and implements process improvement.
• Establishes and implements performance KPIs, measures, and data analytics; leads with data.
• Leads ongoing proactive continuous improvement with operations and the customer.
• Makes engineering design and supply chain strategy recommendations.
• Interacts with engineering leadership and operational leaders.
• Confers with managers to implement efficient and optimized solutions.
