Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer I to advance continuous improvement across warehousing, transload, cross-dock and transportation operations. You will lead engineering projects, apply industrial engineering methods, and partner with operations and management to deliver data-driven solutions.

The role requires a BS in Industrial Engineering (or related field), strong data skills, and familiarity with SQL/Access/Alteryx.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Business degree required; BS Industrial Engineering preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Data management and manipulation skills; ability to manipulate large data-sets.
Database skills, especially SQL, Access, or Alteryx.
Knowledge of warehousing and transportation operations; time & motion study.
Formal education in linear mixed integer programming and simulation.
Travel up to 20% based on business needs and project schedules.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering projects and analyses applying industrial engineering methodologies.
Identify process gaps and implement process improvement.
Establish and implement KPIs, measures, and data analytics; lead with data.
Drive continuous improvement in collaboration with operations and customers.
Provide engineering design and supply chain strategy recommendations.
Interact with engineering and operations leaders to implement optimized solutions.
Coordinate with managers to implement efficient and optimized solutions.
