Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking a Supply Chain Support Coordinator to assist with order processing, inventory management, agency distributions, and food safety compliance. You will support cross-functional teams to ensure timely distribution of food resources across the network.

This role emphasizes accuracy, data entry, communication, and collaboration with the Network Relations Department to fulfill orders and respond to special requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education a plus.
• Experience in customer service, logistics, warehousing and data management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing incoming orders and creating new orders promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage perishable items to prevent expirations.
• Coordinate gleaning and food recovery to maximize donations and reduce waste.
• Support Network Relations for agency distribution and special requests.
• Assist with product receipting, tracking, scheduling and reporting.
• Participate in staff meetings and provide backup support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and related regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
