Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking a Warehouse Associate - Picker to support distribution in our Indianapolis facility. The role involves picking orders with a riding pallet jack, loading shipments, and using a forklift to stage products for the next day’s orders.

You will also handle replenishment, product receipt, inventory, packing, and shipping tasks while maintaining accuracy and safety. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential in this fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in customer service is desired
• Knowledge and experience performing warehouse functions (safety procedures, product receipt, put-away, replenishment, inventory, order-fulfillment and shipment, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using a riding pallet jack and scan gun, load outbound semis and box trucks, and use a forklift to bring product down in the racking for the next days orders.
• Perform replenishment, order-fulfillment, prepare product for distribution, wrap pallets and label orders, and ship product to destination.
• Operate safely with minimal supervision and follow OSHA guidelines; other duties as assigned.
