Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate to manage receiving, put-away and distribution of products in dry, cooler and freezer environments. You will load/unload shipments, perform inventory counts, and ensure accurate records and safe storage.

The role requires attention to detail, reliable math skills and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced warehouse setting. OT and weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
• Professional communication with staff, volunteers and donors.
• Basic math for counts and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment per OSHA guidelines.
• Record received product and store safely.
• Handle product receipt, unloading and put-away.
• Prepare product for distribution and fulfill orders by case or pallet.
• Maintain safety and sanitation per guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
