Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Support & Supply Chain Representative to support customer service, logistics, inventory, and day-to-day operational activities. This role works closely with customers, carriers, sales and service representatives, and internal teams to coordinate shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and provide responsive customer support.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently and collaboratively, and able to manage multiple priorities in an office and warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Supply Chain

• Receive, review, and submit invoices and shipping documentation for imported products.
• Create and distribute daily shipping plans across multiple origin points.
• Coordinate product packing and preparation for safe shipment.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams regarding daily logistics activities.
• Coordinate timely product pickups and deliveries.
• Support inventory and warehouse management, including verifying physical inventory against database records.
• Maintain an organized warehouse environment using 3S principles: Sorting, Setting-in-Order, and Shining.
• Provide product information to service, sales, and administrative teams as needed.
• Work with team leadership to support on-time delivery and minimize unnecessary costs.
• Accurately log transactions in company databases.
• Identify and resolve product shipment and delivery issues.

Customer Support

• Manage a multi-line telephone system.
• Assist customers with product information, including technical information, pricing, and availability.
• Gather customer information and route inquiries to the appropriate support team.
• Maintain required logs and reporting documentation.
• Maintain customer survey information and accurately record information in internal systems.
• Apply critical thinking and professionalism when handling challenging customer situations.
• Complete administrative and related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous logistics or supply chain experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with electrical/mechanical products or in a customer service/call center environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with strong spreadsheet skills.
• Japanese language skills are a plus but are not required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Combination of office and warehouse work.
• Frequent sitting, standing, computer use, and telephone use.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling objects.
• Regular interaction within a warehouse environment that may include noise, heavy equipment, and automated or manual machinery.
• Eight-hour work schedule with overtime as needed.
