Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to manage supplies in the operating rooms and clinic areas. You will serve as a liaison for clinics and ORs across the hospital and ISC, using Excel, SPM and Tableau to locate supplies and instruments.

This full-time on-campus role requires strong communication with hospital staff, ability to move throughout the facility, and the stamina to transport heavy carts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel.
• Knowledge of hospital supply chain management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplies in operating rooms and clinics.
• Serve as liaison for clinics and operating rooms across the hospital and ISC.
• Locate supplies and instruments using Excel, SPM, and Tableau.
• Communicate promptly with hospital staff regarding emergencies and requests.

The University of Iowa Health Care Supply Chain Department is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to manage supplies in the operating rooms and clinic areas. Duties to include:

• Serve as a Supply Chain Department liaison for clinics and operating rooms throughout the hospital and ISC.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, SPM, and Tableau to locate supplies and instruments.
• Prompt communication with hospital staff regarding emergencies and requests.
• Ability to move on foot throughout hospital, move up to 25 pounds, and transport heavy case carts.
• Ability to position self to handle inventory on high or low shelving.
• Other duties as assigned.

Percent of Time: 100%

Schedule: 3:00p.m. to 11:30p.m. Monday-Friday, rotating weekends and holidays
