Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior data and reporting lead in New York to unify forecast, inventory, and order data, and partner with IT to automate reporting. You will deliver actionable insights, build real-time stock and order dashboards, and drive KPI-driven decisions across supply chain teams.

The role requires 7+ years in data analytics or operations, strong ERP knowledge (SAP/Anaplan/Oracle/NetSuite), and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Analytics, Operations or related field.
• 7+ years in business operations, data analytics, demand planning, or cross-functional roles.
• Experience with ERP and forecasting systems (SAP, Anaplan, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Expert Excel skills: pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, VBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and unify data and reporting streams for forecast, inventory, and customer order data.
• Automate reports and streamline data flows with IT or developers.
• Deliver actionable insights through ad hoc and recurring reporting.
• Create real-time insights to track stock levels, order status, and in-transit inventory.
• Build and manage dashboards and reporting tools for KPIs, forecast accuracy, scenario comparisons, and inventory trends.
• Support data requests from ERP, BI, and forecasting systems.
• Perform advanced analytics, root cause analysis, and data cleansing using Excel and other tools.
• Identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define operational KPIs and drive organizational goals.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in supply chain systems.
• Maintain analytical tools for supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Develop supplier scorecard methodology for vendor performance visibility.
