Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to establish and optimize processes related to product purchasing and order scheduling. You will collaborate on production planning strategies, supervise Inventory Planners, and ensure data integrity in the order management system.

The role requires 5+ years in inventory or supply chain leadership, plus systems development and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in inventory management, supply chain or merchandising roles
  • Must have systems development experience
  • Purchasing experience, preferably in re-orderable basics, home, apparel or other soft goods
  • Advanced computer skills including Excel, MS Access or similar
  • Must reside in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, or Massachusetts
  • Relocation assistance is not available

Responsibilities

  • Establish processes, procedures and systems related to product purchasing and order schedule
  • Collaborate to develop production planning strategies
  • Manage vendor compliance with new and existing vendors
  • Ensure data integrity of product information in the order management system
  • Supervise Inventory Planners and Support Staff
  • Manage and coordinate daily department activities related to forecasting and analysis, transportation, purchase orders, and vendor communication
  • Report to the Senior Director of Inventory Management and Operations
